Social Media/Digital Marketing Coordinator

SUN Media Group, Southern Rhode Island & Southeastern Connecticut's newest digital media company, is seeking a social media savvy digital pro to join our team.  The Social Media/Digital Marketing Coordinator will lead the effort with our customers once a sale is made.  Responsibilities include:

• Create & execute social media strategies on multiple platforms for our local advertisers
• Generate appropriate channel-specific content to achieve advertiser’s goals and encourage audience growth
• Analyze channel performance & communicate results with advertisers and the sales team
• Make suggestions to continually improve growth in our customer’s social engagement on each platform
• Monitor the performance of other digital advertising campaigns sold by our sales team, suggesting changes to improve & ensuring advertiser goals are met and exceeded
• Work with internal and external partners to achieve optimal results for our local advertisers

We are seeking a candidate who is:

• Well-versed in social media with 1-2 years experience working with multiple social networks
• Proficient in content creation for social channels and can provide examples of previous work
• Experienced with a range of digital media products including social media, search and display targeting & retargeting
• Opportunistic and sees the potential that strategic digital & social marketing presents to all local businesses, even the smallest SMB’s
• Well-versed in the greater Westerly & Southeastern CT communities
• Organized and customer driven
•  An expert at navigating a fast paced environment with multiple priorities competing for your time
