Electro Mechanical Assembler

Our Client is looking to fill a several full-time positions for an Electro-Mechanical Assemblers in our Warwick Rhode Island facility..

This fulltime position requires 40 hours per week. The Electro-Mechanical assembler must be able and willing to work overtime (over 40 hours)

Work hours: 7:00 am- 3:30 pm with some OT

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Build electromechanical and mechanical assemblies per applicable documentation and quality workmanship standards. Position will require light industrial assembly for metal enclosures. Operate a variety of equipment and hand tools to fulfill manufacturing processes.
• Wire electrical harnesses
• Perform basic shipping and packaging tasks as well as general warehouse functions as directed by the Production Foreman.
• Follow instructions and specifications, both written and verbal. Other tasks as assigned by the Production Foreman or Operations Manager.

Required Skills

• Understand and use basic hand tools.
• Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and assembly instructions for simple assemblies published in English.
• At least 1-year experience building electromechanical and mechanical assemblies.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity.
• Ability to use tools and testing devices.
• Strong measurement skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand up and walk in the workshop during the entire work shift.
