JANITORIAL/GROUNDSKEEPING/MAINTENANCE POSITION

Part/Full Time- Must be available to start work for 8:00 am

a. Primary responsibility will be the daily maintenance of the RISPCA facility and grounds.
b. Duties will include but not limited to cleaning and sanitation of kennels, restrooms, auditorium and administrative offices.
c. Responsible for all exterior grounds keeping in order to maintain a clean, safe and professional appearance to the general public.
d. Responsible for daily laundry duties maintained on site. * In the event on-site equipment is inoperable, off site facilities may be used
e. Responsible for maintaining adequate supplies of any and all cleaning materials and supplies related to the daily animal care operation.
f. Duties may include some animal handling so individual must be comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and breeds.
g. Perform other duties as requires to insure a positive public image and to improve the functioning of the organization.

 

** Reports to the Executive Director/President and has a staff relationship with all other shelter personal

**Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be in good physical health

** Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record as some duties may include operating company vehicles to include transport van and pickup truck.

**May be subject to criminal background check

**Must be able to work well with others and be a team player
