Sample Room Librarian:  Job Description:

Accept and package stock for a packaging company to be stored in an organized fashion.  Manage and maintain a growing and user friendly stock room.  Will be responsible for accepting shipments and cross checking samples with the associated packing list.

Skills:

• Must have a firm grasp on basic organization concepts.
• Must have basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, emailing, internet navigation).
• Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast paced work environment.
• Must have a positive work ethic and be capable of managing fluctuating demand for stock to be organized away, as well as requests to pull stock.

Objectives:

• Understand Contempo Card Company’s Operations how each department operates and how your role integrates into their job descriptions.
• Organizing, storing and gaining knowledge of the mass inventory in the Sample Room.
• Work with purchasing, Graphics, Sales and Customer Service Department with any samples needed for our Sample Room or from our China Office.
• Communicates with Contempo USA and China regarding any merchandise that is needed and requests as needed.
• Checks in and properly delivers samples that come in from Contempo China.
• Reviews sample productions from both Contempo USA and Contempo China.
• Coordinates all sample shipments going to Contempo China from Contempo USA with Purchasing and Shipping Departments as well as communicating that information with Contempo China.
• Understanding our quality control standards.
• Maintains examples of merchandise in the Innovation Center
