Executive VP - Hospitality Sales

Position Summary:

Executive Vice President of Sales - Hospitality

Affinitas Life is seeking an Executive Vice President of Sales to oversee all aspects associated with the development and generation of hospitality consulting and management contracts for the Company.

The EVP of sales will report to the COO and CEO of Affinitas Life, and will also interface with company senior executives.  This executive leader will be responsible for the direction and management of all sales operations, market competitiveness, pricing, distribution of services and channel strategy within the hospitality services division. The success of this position relies heavily on B2B development, and it is expected that the candidate will have extensive experience in this space.

 

Affinitas Life is a niche boutique senior housing developer and owner/operator preparing to launch in Q1 2015.  Affinitas Life recognizes an unmet need within the senior housing and the hospitality spaces where the two converge to create an experience where the Plaza Hotel meets the Country Club. We at Affinitas Life believe that there is more to life after career and child-rearing than just living past 65. Amid the rapidly expanding senior population there is a fast growing demand for unique living environments that do not exist in the market today. Affinitas Life will redefine, design, develop and operate high end, boutique, socially engaged and cultured living communities. These properties will be developed in special locations with the urban setting as their backdrop, providing elegant comfort where retired Baby Boomers will work, play, live and love; today and decades to come.  This experience will be rendered within walking distance of dining, retail and cultural events among an engaged multi-generational population.  

 

The C-Suite at Affintas Life has over 150 years of combined experience within the senior housing and hospitality industries, thereby affording Affinitas Life the opportunity to expand and integrate its unique vision and human capital experience across complementary businesses.  Affinitas Life has developed several integrated yet discreet business units to deliver services to multiple industries, including senior housing, health data analytics, and hospitality consulting.

 

Affinitas Life offers a generous commission plan, with bonuses, that can earn the successful candidate a 6-figure income.  Equity participation opportunities are also available.

 

The qualifications and responsibilities of the successful candidate shall consist of the following:

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation including client relationship development and business cultivation;
  • CRM tool population, management, and metrics;
  • Sales strategy support including competitive analysis;
  • Sales plan execution and management;
  • Thought leadership network development;
  • Quarterly sales plan development (aligned to organizational strategy and sales targets);
  • Sales practice development and policy creation;
  • Communications coordination and partnership with marketing functions, to include digital channels;
  • Distribution strategy implementation;
  • Channel sales management;
  • Sales team human capital development, training, leadership and management;
  • Strategic planning and forecasting support;
  • Sales campaign development and management;
  • Regular presentations and reports to internal senior management and Executive-Level business leaders.

 

 

 

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years sales experience in the hospitality management industry;
  • At least 5 years in a senior management position with sales team development and oversight;
  • Minimum 3 years brand franchise experience;
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels;
  • Existing portfolio of contacts and relationships with potential customers and channel partners;
  • Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal soft and technical skills with executive level customers and partners;
  • Demonstrated business development skills, including successful building of sustainable client relationships;
  • Strong communications skills to facilitate presentation to senior executives, remotely and in person;
  • 4 Year College Degree, or Professional Designation; 
  • Proven sales track record in a launch/new market environment;
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results driven, team oriented environment;
  • Experience with a specific sales methodology, sales funnel management;
  • Experience in choosing, deploying and using sales (globally) applications;
  • Problem solving skills at both the strategic and the tactical level;
  • Capacity to assume more significant executive responsibilities over time.
