OVERVIEW OF JOB
Boys Town New England is seeking a Case Manager based in Providence.  As our Case Manager you will provide intensive and professional targeted case management services to youth and families.  Our Consultants utilize a cognitive-behavioral, ecological model of intervention to help families adopt positive solutions to problems.  This position also links children and families to resources and supports, monitors services, actively advocates for children and families, and assists them in navigating through various systems.    The selected Case Manager must be willing to travel throughout Rhode Island and meet all requirements below. Teaches skills and behavioral techniques to parents and families in the home environment to aid in reunification. This position also provides resources and support to youth and families, monitors progress, and makes recommendations regarding visitation plans.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, OR SKILLS
    Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences or Human Services required
    1-2 years of experience including working with children and families; experience working with children and families in community-based programs or Boys Town programs is preferred
    Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, plus the ability to provide own transportation (mileage reimbursed) to complete travel requirements of the job
    Must meet auto insurance requirements established by Boys Town policy and/or State and Local laws and pass an annual Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR) check
    Ability to work on-call (continuously or rotationally) to provide support and must be available to work outside of traditional business hours including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays in order to be available at times that are convenient to the families
    Must maintain high level of confidentiality
    Ability to pass a thorough background check and reference verification procedure in order to determine one’s fitness to satisfactorily and safely care for youth
    Attend two weeks paid training in Omaha, Nebraska
