EARLY INTERVENTION

 

Looking Upwards Early Intervention is seeking to hire a full time licensed Speech Pathologist to work with families and children from birth to 3 years old.  Please submit your resume to csouza@lookingupwards.org

The following qualifications are necessary:

 

• Must be license in Rhode Island as a SLP
• Experience with infants preferred
• 2 years of experience providing supports to children with disabilities or other health care needs
• Must demonstrate excellent family centered practices
• Will need to travel to homes within Rhode Island
• Must have strong organizational skills 
• Is solution oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Critical thinking skills; creativity a must
• Professional and proficient writing and computer skills
• Can work autonomously and is self-directed
• Must be flexible and available to work the varied hours to meet the needs of the program and families
• Positive recommendation of current supervisor or employer
