Accountant

General Responsibilities:

Responsibilities involve all aspects of accounting including but not limited to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Payroll, Cash Flow Analysis, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting and Human Resources responsibilities.

Manage Bookkeepers and Clerks, interface with the Controller, the CPA, the Company’s Tax Attorney, and general services from corporate banks.

Work elements include:

1. Transaction entry into business system
2. Monthly reporting
3. Month and Year end close of finances
4. Foreign exchange
5. Administration of Human Resources/Benefits

Job Requirements

Experience Requirements: At least 5 years’ experience in Accounting, manufacturing experience is preferred.

Additional General Requirements:

Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of products, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint 

Experience with A/P, Bank Reconciliations, and Human Resources

Proficiency in computer accounting programs and systems

Experience with SQL based systems preferred

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required

Education Requirements

1. BS, Finance/Accounting/Business or equivalent
