Treatment Assistant-All Shifts
The primary purpose of the TA position is be out on the unit observing clients daily activities and assisting clients in their recovery.
The TA welcomes new clients to the unit, escorts them to their rooms, and informs them of the rules and schedules of the unit.
This position accompanies clients to all group meetings, activities, and all meals in the cafeteria.
The CNA/TA is responsible to obtaining and documenting vital signs on clients. This position will clean and disinfect bedrooms.
A TA on residential unit is responsible for observing clients self-administer medications.
Minimum High School Diploma/GED required. Ability to read, write, communicate and understand directions in English. Demonstrates accuracy in taking manual vital signs. Strong interpersonal skills are required to gather information from individuals, build relationships, intervene in difficult situations and provide excellent customer service. Computer literate. Ability to work in a team environment.
