The
Town of Charlestown RI is presently accepting applications for the
full-time
position,
responsible
for accounts payable and accounts receivable, posting to the general
ledger,
assisting
in budget
preparation,
maintaining related records, and working with other
departments.
Requires understanding of
municipal
and generally
accepted
accounting
principles
and practices to ensure timely reporting and regulatory
compliance.
Experience with Infinite Visions or iVisions financial software is
preferred. Salary $53,680 to $57,807 with excellent fringe benefits.
