CHARLESTOWN PARKS & RECREATION BEACH RANGER POSITION(S) - 2017 Beach Ranger (2) Part time seasonal summer positions designed to assist in the overall day-to-day operation of the Charlestown Town beaches. The Beach Ranger's duties shall include: interacting with the general public, continually patrolling the beaches and informing beach patrons about town rules and policies in order to maintain safety and order. Beach Rangers will seek voluntary compliance with beach rules and policies through the continual education of visitors. They will effectively communicate their concerns with beach and park and recreation staff members. They will maintain a sense of calm and control at all times and report serious concerns to managers and emergency services personnel promptly to minimize danger. Applicant MUST be at least 18 years of age. $11/hr. Note: This is a part-time Friday - Sunday position including Memorial Day and Labor Day. APPLICATIONS ACCEPTED UNTIL ALL POSITIONS ARE FILLED.
