Looking Upwards, a well-established Human Service Agency is seeking to hire a nurse to work with adults with DD/ID in a residential setting. East Bay/Aquidneck Island area. Must be highly motivated and comfortable working with people of all abilities. This position will be 10 hours per week with the possibly to increase to 15 hours per week in March 2017.
Hourly rate: $26.00 per hour
Duties will include:
- Nursing case management of group homes
- Coordinating healthcare with multiple providers, attending some appointments as needed
- Site visits to group homes on a routine basis
- Therapeutic communication style with staff, individuals supported, and families
- Monitor medications
- Staff Trainings
