The Town of Mansfield seeks candidates to fill the following positions: Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Qualified candidates must possess, at a minimum, Grade 5 Massachusetts Waste Water Treatment Operator's License, Class D driver's license and high school diploma or equivalent. Must have knowledge and experience in operating a wastewater treatment facility, must be able to work independently and make routine decisions on the operation of plant processes and equipment. Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator in-Training: Qualified candidates must possess, at a minimum, Grade 4 Massachusetts Waste Water Treatment Operator's License, Class D driver's license and high school diploma or equivalent. Must have basic knowledge and experience in wastewater treatment technology and related mechanical equipment. Part-Time Fuel Assistance Coordinator to work with Social Services to assist residents with identifying fuel assistance options and applying for same. The Fuel Assistance Coordinator may make home visits for those who, due to medical issues, are unable to come to the Social Services office. The successful candidate will be a high school graduate, associate or bachelor's degree is preferred. Previous experience in community social services or health-related field is a plus. This is a 19 hour per week position during the months of May through October.
