The Town of Mansfield is accepting applications for the following positions: Water Pollution Control Facility Laboratory Technician: Qualified candidates must possess, at a minimum, Grade 5 Mass. Waste Water Treatment Operator's License and high school diploma or equivalent. Must have good knowledge of lab techniques used in the operation of a wastewater treatment facility and good knowledge of principles of bacteriology, biology, chemistry and physics. Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator: Qualified candidates must possess, at a minimum, Grade 5 Massachusetts Waste Water Treatment Operator's License, Class D driver's license and high school diploma or equivalent. Must have knowledge and experience in operating a wastewater treatment facility, must be able to work independently and make routine decisions on the operation of plant processes and equipment. Electric Department Apprentice Lineworker: Qualified candidates must possess, at a minimum, high school diploma or GED, must have exceptional mechanical aptitude and physical fitness; electrical background and advanced education is a plus. Must be available for overtime and emergency work, as required, and to work in adverse weather.
