Bristol Elder Services, Inc., located in Fall River, MA, is a private, non-profit agency that provides and advocates for community-based support services in 23 communities in southeastern MA. EOE/AA PROTECTIVE SERVICES SCREENER The successful applicant will screen reports of elder abuse and evaluate the level of risk. Responsible for hiring, training, and supervising Protective Services Intake Workers. Provides back up support for the intake function, as needed. Bachelor s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, human development, or gerontology plus two years experience in counseling or case management providing protective or crisis intervention services required. 35 hour work week, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. PROTECTIVE SERVICES WORKER The successful applicant will investigate reports of elder abuse, assess risk, and develop service plans to alleviate abuse. Bilingual English and Portuguese preferred. Bachelor s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, human development, or gerontology plus two years experience in counseling or case management providing protective or crisis intervention services required. 35 hour work week with flexible scheduling options following introductory period.
