The North Attleborough Electric Department, a municipal electric utility with approximately 13,000

customer meters, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of:





POSITION TITLE:

GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION

SYSTEMS (GIS) TECH


FULL TIME – 40 hours per week

IBEW Local 104-Unit A

Grade 3 – Hourly Wage $26.16 to $36.21 Assists and supports the GIS Manager in the

development and maintenance of the Geographic Information System (GIS) for the North Attleborough Electric Department (NAED). The position is responsible for tasks which include the production, maintenance and cataloging of department distribution maps, reports, charts, graphs and training guides Also assists with field work, including GPS data collection and related field work efforts.





Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, planning, environmental science or

similar field is preferred, or an Associate’s Degree in a STEM field or 1 year of fulltime work experience using ArcGIS or equivalent.
