Looking Upwards, a well-established nonprofit human services agency is seeking to hire a part time RN to work 15-hours per week, with adults with DD/ID in residential settings throughout Rhode Island. Must be highly motivated and comfortable working with people of all abilities.

Qualifications:

• A valid Rhode Island Nursing license

Essential Duties include:

• Nursing case management in a group home setting
• Attendance of multidisciplinary team meetings
• Coordinating healthcare needs with multiple providers, attending physician appointments as necessary.
• Visits to group homes on routine basis
• Effective communication style with Direct Support Professionals, individuals supported and families.
• Monitor medication administration
• Training Direct Support staff
• Computer skills a plus
