Customer Service Specialist

Customer Service Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Serves customers by providing product and service information; assisting with order placement, resolving product service problems and assisting with Trade Show and Sample requests.

 

Customer Service Specialist Duties:

  • Answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services.
  • Open customer accounts by recording account information
  • Maintain customer records by updating account information
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
  • Assist Customers with Purchase order placement via the Phone & Email.
  • Process Trade Show and Sample requests in Sales Force and ERP systems
  • Ship Sample & Trade Show requests using Fed Ex / UPS shipping stations.

Customer Service Specialist Skills and Qualifications:

  • Customer Service, Product Knowledge, Quality Focus, Problem Solving, Documentation Skills, Listening, Phone Skills, Resolving Conflict, Analyzing Information, Multi-tasking, Basic Microsoft office, Salesforce experience & Microsoft Great Plains (ERP system) is a plus but not required
