Associate Director, Annual Giving (Parent Programs)

Position Title Associate Director, Annual Giving (Parent Programs)
Overview
Oversee parent fundraising with specific attention to non-alumni parents in an effort to increase engagement with the College at the onset of their time as PC parents.

Essential Duties:
1. Maintain an active portfolio of donor prospects which includes cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individuals capable of making annual gifts with a focus on leadership level donors. Responsible for meeting annual visit goals including tracking of all visits and solicitations with trip reports and regular database management.

2. Responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and growth of the Parents Fund Committee, focused on raising annual unrestricted gifts for the College from parents and families; including identification, recruitment, training, and management of volunteer solicitors. Hold regular conference calls with volunteers.

3. Develop and implement a comprehensive parent fundraising program aligned with the strategic vision and priorities of the Annual Fund. Manage the Parents Leadership Council, and Parents Fund Committee programs. Coordinate bi-annual committee meetings of the Parents Leadership Counsel and Parents Fund Committee.

4. Partner with annual, major, and principal gift officers to review parent prospects, develop solicitation strategies, and determine implementation plans.

Marginal Duties:
1. Perform all other duties as may be required.

Education and Experience Required
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required
• Five to seven years' in a progressively responsible experience in development fundraising or a related field required. Experience with parent constituency highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication and organizational skills required.
• Proactive, creative problem solver with the ability to interact with a broad range of constituents including alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends of the College.
• Computer proficiency and a demonstrated ability to work independently, and as part of a team, essential.
• Evening work and ability to travel required

• Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s), for example, using a keyboard
