PCB Assembly Technician The PCB Assembler will follow engineering drawings and work instructions to assemble printed circuit boards and hand solder components to meet quality standards and industry guidelines. Duties and Responsibilities Assembles printed circuit boards according to engineering drawings, hand soldering through-hole and SMD components in accordance with IPC J-STD-001 Leaded and lead free hand soldering on fine pitch components in various packages Performing PCB re-works in accordance with engineering documentation and IPC-7711/7721 Applying RTV silicone per engineering drawings and manufacturing procedures, masking PCBs for conformal coating Recording build data including expiration dates and calibration dates, ensuring validity for each at the time of assembly Maintains a neat, orderly and safe work station Performs other duties from time to time as directed Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience hand soldering through-hole and SMD fine pitch components Experience reading engineering drawings
