This is a Full Time position. 

 Sign on Bonus eligible.  3rd Shift 11p-7a.  With the current growth of AdCare Rhode Island we are in urgent need of Registered Nurses. 

The Registered Nurse is responsible for all patients on the unit. This position assesses patients, conducts pre-certification evaluations, and implements specific detoxification protocols, as designated by the Medical Director.

The RN is also responsible for recording and administering all medications prescribed to clients. Must follow all policies and procedures for clinical documentation. 

Ability to read, write, communicate and understand directions in English. Demonstrates accuracy in taking manual vital signs. Strong interpersonal skills are required to gather information from individuals, build relationships, intervene in difficult situations and provide excellent customer service. Ability to prioritize, organize and multitask. Computer literate. Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment. Knowledge of addiction and chemical dependency. Ability to use defibrillation equipment.

Must have excellent nursing skills.  Experience working in detox, addiction, and mental health environments is preferred. RN license and CPR certification required. Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor Degree in Nursing required. 

All positions require a TST,  MMR Titer, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and a background records check.
