School Behavioral Coordinator

Full Time 40 hours a week, Salaried

Looking Upwards is seeking to hire an individual to provide coordination and behavioral support for an innovative and growing program committed to meeting the educational needs of students in various school districts in Rhode Island. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated successful skills in behavior management techniques, , supervision, communication skills, computer skills and strong leadership abilities.
 

The preferred candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in psychology or a related field with at least 3 years working in a setting that provides behavior supports.
• Able to complete behavioral assessments.
• Able to write behavioral plans and document progress.
• Able to train and supervise staff across a variety of settings.
• Able to professionally interact with various school personnel and other stakeholders.
• Demonstrates strong writing skills.
• Ability to manage outcomes.
• Ability to work effectively with a team demonstrating strong team approach.
• Able to be self-directed.
• High flexibility.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong Computer skills.

 

Starting rate of pay is $19.24 per hour
