IMS is hiring a Quality Coordinator

General Overview:

Perform tasks related to and including ISO document Control and Final Quality Inspection.

Shift Hours:   Monday through Friday – 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Dress Code:   Shop/Production

Position Duties:

1. Assist in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system.
2. Work with IMS Managers and others to develop, implement, monitor and review all QMS documentation and procedures.
3. Assist with CAPA processes, Internal Audits, third party audits, and other aspect of the quality management system.
4. Read, understand, and comply with ISO/AS procedures and work instructions.
5. Perform in-process audits as applicable.
6. Complete NCMR/fail lot information as required when non-conforming material is detected during in-process or final inspection.  Maintain NCMR/lot failure data.
7. Perform final inspection on all IMS chip resistors, attenuators, thermal products, and any other items as described by IMS specification. 
8. Maintain daily QA log on computer, and complete audit worksheets as required.
9. Perform visual inspection at 30X magnification or higher according to applicable Mil. Std. requirements.
10. Check all paperwork to ensure order and parts are correct, and that all information is present and correct.

 

Qualifications and experience:

1. Previous experience and knowledge of quality system implementations, CAPA processes, and auditing techniques and principles. 
2. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
3. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with employees from across the organization as well as customers and regulators.
4. Self-directed, self-motivated and able to work in a cross-functional team environment.

            Complete all duties as assigned.

Position Reports To: Quality Manager

 

Salary:

Annual Salary $33,000 to  $40,000
