HTP-MEDS LLC. is currently looking for an experienced Production Supervisor for our 1st shift Extrusion Department. HTP-MEDS is an OEM contract manufacturer focused on components and sub-assemblies for the medical device industry.  We have a strong commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, innovation and our people.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  Three years (minimum) of proven supervisory or leadership experience in a plastics manufacturing environment is required.  Possessing excellent communication skills, a leader having the ability to plan, prioritize and organize work effectively.  Able to adapt to evolving development and production needs.  Able to troubleshoot, analyze problems and make logical decisions.

Principle Responsibilities:  1. Lead extrusion team to achieve company goals and objectives.  Thoroughly communicate all needed information with the other two shifts.  2. Work with Management and Engineering to solve extrusion challenges.  Aid other departments in resolving extrusion-related issues.  3. Enforce company policies and rules.  4. Responsible for the training, motivation, discipline, and measuring of employees' performance in the Extrusion Department.  5. Supervise overall extrusion operations by planning, prioritizing, organizing, and delegating work effectively.  6. Troubleshoot production lines and coach Line Operators.  7. Ensure the general operating procedures and guidelines are followed in production by all shift personnel.  8.  Participation in Material Review Boards for the disposition of materials.
