Tool Crib Attendant



Immediate full-time opening at PEP’s Franklin, MA manufacturing facility for a strong candidate to manage the tool crib. High school diploma or equivalent, computer skills/knowledge required and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Experience in a machine shop or related manufacturing setting a plus.

Job duties include, but not limited to:

• Receive, store, and issue hand tools, machine tools, fixtures, materials, and equipment in a machine shop environment.

• Maintain records of tools and equipment issued and returned, using a computer.

• Receive, unpack, and store incoming tools and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory.

• Inspect and measure tools and equipment for defects and wear, visually or using micrometer, and report damage or wear to supervisors for regrinding.

• Build and set tool length offset with the use of a pre-setter.
