Route Service Representative

We are looking for a highly energetic, neat, organized, dependable individual to perform daily route duties at various animal hospitals located throughout the New England area.  Candidates must have a current driver's license, a clean driving record, be able to lift 125lbs, and pass a medical physical.  This position is both physical and labor intensive.

On a normal day, you will visit a number of hospital locations, perform numerous lifting duties related to pet aftercare, complete paperwork with accuracy and legible handwriting, and insure that our clients have the supplies they need.  You will also be required to spend a few hours each day at the main office preparing daily routes and returns and one day per week performing in-house duties.  Attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary.

Work Schedule:

Candidates are required to have flexible work schedules.  While our Route Service Representative shifts are first shift schedules, candidates must understand that there are days where the candidates will be required to start early and end late depending on their daily route.  The work week consists of five days, including Saturdays with a day off during the week and Sundays.  Candidates must also be able to participate in the on-call rotation which includes after hours, and weekend on call availability. 

Requirements:

Applicant must be at least 21 years old

Applicant must have an active and valid driver's license for the past 12 consecutive months

Applicant cannot have more than 1 moving violation or accident in the past 12 months

Applicant cannot have more than 3 moving violations or accidents in the past 3 years

Applicant cannot have been convicted of a crime (felony or misdemeanor) involving the use of a motor vehicle in the past 3 years

Applicant cannot have been convicted of: driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, reckless driving, or driving with a suspended or revoked license in the past 3 years

DOT drug screening and physical required

High School Diploma or GED

Previous Customer Service Experience

Ability to sit for extended periods of time, lift product, bend, twist, and climb in and out of truck

Ability to follow instructions and complete required training
