What we need:

We are seeking a highly motivated, extremely talented instructor to teaching cosmetology to eager adult learners. 

What you will do:

• Teach material from approved curriculum and develops daily lesson plans to include instructional aids.
• Participate in school retention initiatives by providing regular, accurate, and timely feedback to students and the school concerning academics, behavior, attendance, etc.
• Motivate students to actively participate in all aspects of the educational process.
• Complete professional development and in-service activities in accordance with institute standards.
• Maintain expertise in subject area and recommends improvements in curriculum design.
• Instruct students in Salon safety procedures.
• Perform duties in the Learning Resource Center as assigned

Job Requirements

What you need:

• Minimum of 5 years practicing as a licensed Cosmetologist
• Must be licensed as a Cosmetology instructor in the State of Rhode Island
• Teaching experience highly desired
• A keen desire to help our students reach goals to become successful
