Accountant & HR Administrator

Seeks an experienced, highly motivated,

IMS Accountant & HR Administrator

Areas of Responsibility:

General:

Position requires Technical (IT) Accounting transactions& support utilizing computerized time clock, payroll program, and the accounting applications of the ERP business system in a Microsoft SQL Environment.

Bachelor's Degress in Accounting, with course emphasis that includes Computerized Accounting

Responsibilities include: Bookkeeping, Payroll, AP, and HR

Job Details:

Receivables including end of month cash receipts reconciliation and distribution and assist with credit inquiries of our customers

Accounts Payable Including Incoming Invoices, and non-Invoice payments (qtr. taxes, real estate, assist with commissions), Forex transactions                       

Payments including checks, cash payments, journal entries into the ERP system (Aptean’s Intuitive), end of month distributions and reconciliations, & accounts payable register

Cash Flow including cash flow reports

Payroll including updates to employee files, quarterly and year end tax returns (Federal, State, RIDES, FUTA deposits and sales tax), W2 forms, Medical coverage knowledge, weekly tax deposits, weekly payroll processing, biweekly 401k reporting.

Month end closing including Bank statements, reconciliation, accounts receivable /commissions/sales reports (monthly/quarterly from Intuitive), interface payroll package to General ledger, T adjustments, interface AP and AR into GL, misc journal entries, etc.

HR/Personnel, HR duties to include:

-Maintain, monitor, and report on the longevity status of all employees, on a quarterly and monthly basis E-mail a list to their direct manager.

-Maintain, monitor and report the upcoming review dates for all employees. On a quarterly and monthly basis E-mail a list to their direct supervisor and their supervisor’s supervisor.

-Maintain, monitor and report on vacation and sick time for all employees. On a quarterly and monthly basis E-mail a report to their immediate supervisor regarding the remaining vacation and sick time along with the renewal anniversary date.

-Assist with requirements for the renewal process of the Blue Cross/Delta Dental/Aflac and the 401k, United Way and other HR related programs.

-Maintain a strict level of confidentiality for all HR and employee payroll duties and functions.

-Perform assigned administrative personnel functions as assigned by VP of Finance/Controller.

-Distribute monthly notifications of upcoming employee performance reviews to immediate supervisors and the next tier supervisor as well as VP of Finance/Controller and IMS President

-Maintain list of current pay rates

-Maintain and keep all personnel records current

Special projects and other work as assigned by VP of Finance/Controller
