Law Firm Office Manager
Law Firm Office Manager A mid-sized Rhode Island law firm with offices in Newport and South County is seeking a Firm Administrator. The Administrator will have responsibility for a wide range of administrative support and operational areas, including, but not limited to, accounts payable and receivable, facilities management, human resource management, benefit administration and vendor relationships. The Administrator will also contribute to client relations and strategic development at the firm, as needed. Candidates should have managerial experience in a professional services environment. Candidates should also possess a working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements along with the ability to identify and implement sound office administration practices. Exemplary written and verbal communication skills are required. In addition, candidates should demonstrate a proven ability to multi task, manage administrative staff, develop team members, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, enhance client relationships and resolve billing concerns. The ability to use good judgment and address operational issues independently, while involving firm leadership when necessary, is a critical competency for this position.
