We are looking for the following team players: - CNC Machinist Lathe / Milling 1st Shift: Monday Friday; 6:00 am 2:30 pm 2nd Shift: Monday Thursday; 2:30 pm 1:00 am Responsibilities: - Produce machined parts by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, reference planes, locations of surfaces and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). - Perform set up by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry and trigonometry; proving part programs. - Perform editing functions using standard G code programs. - Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part and sample work pieces while adhering to ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100 standards. - Perform quality inspection of all work produced using various pieces of standard inspection equipment and techniques. - Fabricator 1st Shift: Monday Friday; 6:00 am 2:30 pm Responsibilities: - Read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches and work specifications to be performed; lay-out, measure and mark sheet metal according to drawings or templates. - Operate metalworking machines such as shears, brakes, punches and drill presses including computer numerical control (CNC) equipment to cut, bend, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal. - Operate computerized laser/water jet equipment to cut sheet metal. - Perform preventative maintenance on fabrication equipment (i.e., keeping machine and area clean, ensuring parts are not broken, etc.). - Remove burrs on parts produced from any cutting operations. - Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part and sample work pieces while adhering to ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100 standards. Qualifications: - Minimum five years of experience in a production machining environment. - Knowledge of commonly used concepts manufacturing practices and procedures. - Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques. - Solid shop math skills and ability to work with measuring equipment (i.e.: dial calipers, micrometers) In addition to providing a clean and air conditioned work environment, PLANSEE USA offers a competitive compensation and benefits package that consists of bonus program, 90% paid for healthcare, 401(k) employer match, company paid life and disability benefits, flexible spending accounts and much more.
